Una Bendición para el Nuevo Año Escolar A Blessing for the New School Year

There’s something sacred about the first day of school. Whether you’re dropping off your child at kindergarten

for the first time, or sending off a teenager who’s nearly ready to fly solo, that moment deserves more than a

quick photo, it deserves a blessing.

Faith doesn’t only live in church on Sundays. It lives in the silent prayer we say while driving to school, in the

whispered; “God keep you” before closing the car door, in the trust that we can’t control every moment of our

children’s day , but we can hand them over with faith.

This year, I invite you to create a small family tradition: a one-line prayer before leaving the house, a verse

tucked into a lunchbox, or simply a quiet moment holding hands before the day begins. These small habits build a

big faith over time.

No caminas sola.

And for you, mom or dad, who is also starting something new — a business, a job, a different chapter —

remember, that you deserve that same blessing too. You are not walking alone.
